Uniform milk prices stumble again in September with prices falling month over month, a pattern that first began in July. The average uniform milk price across the 11 Federal Milk Marketing Orders (FMMOs) was at $18.98 per hundredweight (cwt) last month, down 78 cents from August, according to the most recent FMMO reports. In individual orders, the uniform price varied greatly, yet the milk prices all declined from the previous month.
