Uniform Milk Prices Fall After Six Month Run

After a six-month streak of climbing uniform milk prices, the average Federal Milk Marketing Order (FMMO) uniform milk price fell in July to $20.74 per hundredweight (cwt), according to the latest FMMO reports. Even in individual orders, the milk price decreased from as little as 62 cents per cwt in the Florida FMMO to as much as $2.02 per cwt in the Arizona FMMO. Likewise, producer price differentials (PPDs) were also down – or slightly unchanged – from the previous month in reporting FMMOs.For the full article click here
